In the recent years, organizations shifted from legacy oriented integration solution, to business workflow oriented component architectures. ApplinX offered the most modern legacy-integration solution, by quickly and efficiently encapsulation of legacy workflows into standard Web services.

ApplinX Server ran as a comprehensive web services execution environment. Upon installation, ApplinX can expose host transactions as well defined web services, for integration into enterprise portals and B2B inter-organization workflows.

ApplinX's architecture leveraged such legacy assets (RPC or screen-based workflows) into standard web services. Using SOAP protocol over HTTP, or HTTP Post method, ApplinX managed these web services as a centralized integration server, and enables quick deployment of any selected client for further integration.
